Event Cleaning Services in Australia

Most venue hire agreements set a handover time, and many hold a cleaning bond against it. We reset venues in the evening, up to 10pm, or first thing the next morning from 6am, before the venue opens. Weddings, functions, corporate events and house parties in Darwin, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Tasmania.

Crews are sized to the venue and the deadline, waste is sorted, and every area is photographed before we leave. Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work.

What does event cleaning cover, and when does it happen?

A full reset of the space to the condition the venue handed it over in. Floors, tables, bar areas, amenities, and every glass, bottle and decoration left behind.

Timing is the whole service. If your event finishes early enough, we clean that evening and are done by 10pm. If the venue runs later than that, we come back from 6am the next morning and finish before it opens.

It covers private homes too. Cleaning a house after a party for fifty people is the same work at a smaller scale.

For red wine or food in the carpet afterwards, see carpet cleaning.

When can we clean around your event?

Three arrangements cover almost every booking.

Evening reset

For daytime and early evening events. The crew arrives as the last guest leaves and finishes by 10pm.

Next morning, before opening

For venues that close after 10pm. We start from 6am and hand the space back before the venue opens.

During the event

A roaming crew for longer daytime functions. Amenities checked, glasses cleared and spills handled before anyone slips.

What gets cleaned after an event?

Agreed against the venue's own handover checklist wherever one exists.

Floors and furniture

  • Hard floors swept and mopped
  • Spills lifted before they set
  • Tables and chairs wiped down
  • Furniture returned to layout
  • Carpet spot treatment

Bar and catering areas

  • Glassware collected and stacked
  • Bar tops and drip trays
  • Catering benches and sinks
  • Food waste bagged
  • Fridges and eskies emptied

Amenities and outdoors

  • Toilets cleaned and restocked
  • Basins, mirrors and floors
  • Entry, steps and pathways
  • Car park and grounds litter
  • Marquee and outdoor areas

Details venues check

  • Confetti and glitter in floor joins
  • Cable ties and decorations left up
  • Wax on tables
  • Bottles in garden beds
  • Bins overfilled and not sorted

Glitter gets into floor joins and takes far longer to remove than anyone expects, so tell us if it is on the plan.

How does an event clean get organised?

Four steps, and the deadline drives all of them.

Contact us
  1. Step 01

    Times set first

Event finish, venue closing time and handover deadline confirmed before the crew is sized.

  2. Step 02

    Crew sized to the window

Enough people to finish by 10pm, or before the venue opens the next morning.

  3. Step 03

    Handover photographed

Every area photographed before we leave, then sent to you to share with the venue.

  4. Step 04

    Anything flagged, sorted

If the venue raises something about our cleaning, tell us and we sort it.

Why do event cleans go wrong?

Four things that decide how the handover goes.

Timed to your handover deadline

The venue sets the hour. A crew that turns up too small runs out of time, and by then somebody is waiting to inspect the room.

We size the crew to the window, whether that is the evening up to 10pm or the morning before opening, and confirm the finish time before you book.

Private homes after a party

A house that hosted fifty people is the same job at a smaller scale.

An evening clean or a next-morning clean from 6am, with floors, bathrooms and outdoor areas included.

Waste sorted, not just bagged and left

Venues check the bins. Bottles in general waste and overfilled bins can be charged back to you.

We separate bottles, recycling and general waste to the venue's own system, and tell you in advance if the volume will exceed what is on site.

A photographed handover

Disputes about a venue usually come down to what the room looked like at handover.

Every area is photographed before we leave, then sent to you, so you have a record to share with the venue.

What backs an event clean?

What do our customers say about us?

How is an event clean priced?

On guest count and the deadline, not floor area.

Tell us the event

Venue, guest numbers, finish time and the handover deadline.

We size the crew

Enough people to finish inside your window, costed against it.

Fixed price before the day

Agreed in writing before the event.

Guest count drives the price more than the room does. A hundred and forty people in a small hall leave far more behind than forty in a large one. A tight deadline needs a bigger crew, so it costs more than a generous one.

Confetti, glitter and marquee events are quoted separately. They take longer than anything else on this page.

What else needs doing after an event?

Booked in advance rather than discovered on the day.

Deep clean the next day

For homes that hosted rather than venues. Deep cleaning →

Pre-event presentation

The space cleaned before guests arrive, not just after.

Where do we clean after events?

Function centres, community halls, clubs, corporate venues and private homes. Not sure we reach your venue? Request a quote and tell us where it is.

What do organisers ask before they book?

How soon after an event can you start?

As soon as the last guest is out, as long as we can finish by 10pm. Tell us the scheduled end and we plan backwards from the venue's deadline. For a post-event emergency, such as a flooded bathroom or a spill the venue needs gone, ring our 24-hour emergency line on 0483 982 111.

What if the venue closes after 10pm?

We come back the next morning. Our hours are 6am to 10pm, seven days, so a venue that closes late gets a clean from 6am, finished before it opens. Check the venue allows a next-morning handover when you book it.

Do you work weekends?

Yes, seven days. Saturdays in wedding season book out first, so give us as much notice as you can.

What does an event clean cost?

It depends on guest numbers and how tight the handover deadline is, not on the size of the room. You get a fixed written price before the day.

Do you take the rubbish away?

We sort it and bag it into the venue's own bins, separating bottles, recycling and general waste. Removing waste from site is a separate arrangement, because many venues use their own contractor or a booked skip. If the volume will exceed what is on site, we tell you at quoting.

Can you clean a private house after a party?

Yes. An evening clean up to 10pm or a next-morning clean from 6am, covering floors, kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor areas and spot cleaning on carpet.

What if the venue has its own cleaning checklist?

Send it to us and we work to it rather than to our own scope. Community halls, clubs and function centres usually have one, and it is what the venue checks the handover against.

What happens if the event runs late?

Tell us as early as you can. If there is not enough time left to finish by 10pm, we finish the rest from 6am the next morning, before the venue opens.

We stay until it's right

Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.

Ready to hand the venue back clean?

Tell us the venue, the guest count and the handover deadline. You get a fixed price before the day and photos when we finish.
