Which stage are you actually booking?
The industry uses these names loosely, so here is what we mean by each. Quote against the stage, not against the word.
Rough clean. During the build or once structural trades finish. Bulk debris, offcuts, packaging and trip hazards cleared so following trades can work.
Builders clean. After the last trade leaves. Full dust removal top to bottom, cabinetry inside and out, wet areas, sticker and adhesive removal, grout haze, floors.
Final or sparkle clean. In the day or two before handover. Glass, chrome, stainless, mirrors and the dust that resettled since the builders clean.
Defects re-clean. After the inspection, once the defect trades have been back through and made it dirty again.

How do you handle construction dust?
With vacuums and damp methods, because sweeping and blowing just put the dust back in the air.
Dry sweeping, compressed air and high pressure water all lift fine dust off a surface and send it somewhere else. We vacuum first and damp wipe after, working top to bottom so nothing falls onto a finished surface.
Where cutting, grinding or chasing has left silica dust behind, we extract it as part of the builders clean, quoted at the walkthrough once we have seen how much there is.
Dust that settles after the builders clean is normal in Top End humidity. That is what the final clean is for, booked in the last day or two before handover.
Why does a Darwin site need different scheduling?
Because the weather pushes on your handover date, and the cleaning program has to allow for it.
- The wet season runs November to April, and mud gets tracked across a finished slab in one afternoon, so the final clean sits as close to handover as your program allows

We tell you on the spot what the options cost, which is usually a partial clean now or a reschedule. You get that call before we leave, not as a surprise line on the invoice.

Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.
