Warehouse and Industrial Cleaning Services in Australia

A distribution centre does not close so you can clean it. Industrial cleaning happens around forklift traffic, racking at height and a slab that never stops working. Warehouses, factories, workshops and cold storage, across seven regions.

We clean from 6am before your first shift, or in the evening until 10pm after the last one, with a signed record after every attendance. Quoted after a site walkthrough.

What does industrial cleaning cover beyond sweeping the floor?

Mechanical scrubbing and degreasing of the slab, racking and structure at height, dock aprons, drainage grates, amenities and crib rooms. Sweeping is the smallest part of the job.

The floor is the main event because it is a safety control rather than a presentation item. A slab with embedded oil grips reasonably when dry and turns slippery the moment moisture arrives.

Crews are assigned to your site rather than sent from a pool. They learn your traffic flow, your exclusion zones and your dock schedule once.

Some work sits outside our scope. Plant and machinery cleaning is a maintenance task with its own isolation procedures. Regulated waste and contaminated wash water go to a licensed contractor under your trade waste arrangements.

For the site office and administration areas, see office cleaning. For external hardstand and building washdowns, see pressure washing.

When can a working site be cleaned?

Inside our hours of 6am to 10pm, seven days, fitted around your shift pattern.

Early morning, before first shift

From 6am, so the floor is clear and dry when the first forklift moves. Suits sites that start at 7 or 8.

Evening, after the last shift

After production stops and before 10pm. Nothing has to be cordoned off and the dock is quiet.

Zone by zone, during operations

For sites that never empty. Areas are isolated and released one at a time with your supervisor.

Shutdown and periodic

Deep scrubs and high-level work booked into planned shutdowns or quiet weekends.

How is the work signed off on a live site?

Your supervisor is running the floor, not following a cleaning crew around it.

Why does the same warehouse floor behave differently across Australia?

Concrete is the largest and slowest surface in the building. What the air does to it depends on where the shed is standing.

  • Darwin and Brisbane. Warm humid air meets a cooler slab and condenses on it. The floor goes slick with no spill involved.
  • Embedded oil makes that worse. Oil in the surface of the slab holds moisture on top, which turns an occasional problem into a standing one.
  • Sydney and Melbourne. The same condensation turns up in warmer months, usually after a cool night followed by a humid day.
  • Perth and Adelaide. Dry air, so the issue is airborne dust and rubber build-up in the traffic lanes.
  • Industrial geography differs too. Melbourne's sheds run through Dandenong and Truganina, and Sydney's concentrate in the west around Wetherill Park and Eastern Creek.

Degreasing a slab in a humid region is a slip control rather than housekeeping. We schedule it against your conditions rather than a national calendar.

What keeps a warehouse cleaning contract working?

Four things that decide whether a contract survives its first year.

The slab treated as a safety control

Embedded oil and grease on concrete is a work health and safety hazard, and it is deceptive. A contaminated floor grips while dry and turns slippery the moment a wet tyre or a humid morning arrives.

We degrease rather than wet-sweep, and we schedule it against your conditions. That is a hazard control with a record attached.

Work fitted around forklift traffic

Very few sites can hand a cleaning contractor an empty building. A clean that needs space nobody can give does not get done.

We work early before your first shift, in the evening after your last, or zone by zone with your supervisor. A zone does not go back to operations until it is dry.

Height work done under a method statement

Beam tops, roof members and mezzanine grating all sit above head height, and what collects there eventually drops onto the floor or into product.

Each height task runs under its own Safe Work Method Statement, lodged with your safety officer before the crew arrives.

Crews inducted to your site

Industrial sites have exclusion zones, dock schedules and traffic rules that take time to learn.

We assign a crew to your site so your induction is done once, not every roster change. Spill and incident callouts are booked within the same hours, 6am to 10pm.

Nobody retenders because the floor looked grey. They retender after an incident report names the floor and nobody can show what was done about it.

What backs a crew working around your forklifts?

Your site, your rules, your incident register.

Zone method agreed first

Isolation and release worked out with your supervisor.

$10 million public liability

Insurance cover in place for work on your premises.

Plant and chemicals supplied

Scrubbers, sweepers and degreasers, with SDS held.

Height under SWMS

Documented before anyone leaves the ground.

Hazards reported, not covered

Leaks, damage and spills go to your supervisor.

Photo record every attendance

Zones covered and condition photos, signed off.

What do our customers say about us?

How is an industrial cleaning quote worked out?

Nothing is quoted before someone walks the floor.

Site walkthrough

Slab condition, racking height, traffic flow and the hours you can give us.

Scope and method

Task list with frequencies, plus the SWMS pack for height work.

Induction and setup

Site rules, permits, exclusion zones and reporting contacts.

Service and reporting

Scheduled attendances with signed records and condition photos.

Slab condition drives the quote more than floor area does. A shed with years of oil build-up is a different job from a new one of the same size, and the first clean usually takes longer than the cycle that follows it.

Periodic and shutdown work is quoted as a separate program so the regular service stays predictable.

High-level dust removal

Beam tops, roof members, cable trays and services runs.

Skylights and high glazing

Light levels drop long before anyone blames the glass. Window cleaning →

Amenity deep clean

Crib rooms, lockers and washrooms on a quarterly cycle.

Spill and incident response

Callouts seven days between 6am and 10pm, within your site procedures.

What do site managers ask before they sign?

Do we have to shut the site down?

No. We clean before your first shift, after your last, or zone by zone with your supervisor, releasing each area once it is dry. Sites that can give us a clear early-morning or evening window get cleaned faster.

Can you clean racking and high-level structures?

Yes, under a Safe Work Method Statement written for that task and lodged with you before the crew arrives. Beam tops, roof members and mezzanine grating all collect dust that eventually lands on product or floor.

What can you do about oil-stained concrete?

Degrease it rather than wash over it, because oil in the slab is why a floor grips while dry and turns slippery once it is wet. A full degrease is usually a shutdown job, then a monthly or quarterly cycle holds it.

What happens to the wash water?

It stays within your trade waste arrangements. Industrial wash water carries oil, rubber and solids that cannot go to stormwater, so we work to your site's containment and disposal procedure. Where a site has none, we say so at the walkthrough.

What documentation do you provide?

Safe Work Method Statements for each task, a site-specific risk assessment and Safety Data Sheets for every chemical. The pack goes to your safety officer before the first attendance, and every crew member completes your site induction.

What hours can you work on our site?

6am to 10pm, seven days, including weekends and planned shutdowns. Most sites book an early-morning clean before the first shift or an evening clean after the last. If your site runs past 10pm, we work zone by zone during our hours instead.

We stay until it's right

Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.
