Restaurant & Café Cleaning in Brisbane

Restaurant & Café Cleaning Services in Brisbane

Brisbane food businesses are audited by Council under Eat Safe Brisbane, and cleaning is part of what an auditor looks at. Restaurant and cafe cleaning here should leave a record you can show, not just a clean kitchen.

Cleaning and sanitising are separate steps, and we log both. We work after close until 10pm, and a venue that trades later gets its clean from 6am the next morning, before prep starts.

  • Cleaned and sanitised as two separate steps
  • Floors and coving on their own task line
  • After close or before opening, never during service

What do our restaurant and cafe cleaning services cover?

Contract cleaning for restaurants, cafes, bakeries and pubs: the cookline surrounds, benches, floors and coolroom exteriors, plus amenities and front of house.

Kitchen cleaning turns on one distinction. Cleaning removes the soil, and sanitising reduces what is left on a surface food touches. Both go in the scope with the product named against each.

Canopies and exhaust ducts are quoted separately. We clean them too, priced once we have seen the canopy and the duct run, and scheduled outside service.

Front of house glass and footpath dining are quoted alongside. For a plain office tenancy see office cleaning in Brisbane.

Daily, weekly, or periodic?

Three frequencies running at once, which is how kitchens work.

Daily

Floors, benches, sinks and the cookline face, done after the last cover or before the morning prep.

Weekly detail

Behind and under the line, coolroom exteriors, shelving and the wall junctions that get walked past on a daily run.

Periodic heavy

Floor degrease and coving, monthly or quarterly depending on what you cook and how much of it.

A busy kitchen needs a different periodic cycle to a cafe closing at three. We set it at the walkthrough.

How is the work checked?

Your chef is not there to check it, so you get a record instead.

  1. Step 01

    Walkthrough at close

We see the kitchen the way we will find it, not tidied for a sales visit at eleven in the morning.

  2. Step 02

    Scope built on your checklist

Your closing checklist and ours line up, so nothing sits in the gap between the kitchen team and us.

  3. Step 03

    Access sorted once

Alarm codes, keys and the back door arrangement agreed at the start.

  4. Step 04

    Logged before we lock up

Time stamped, with anything found reported before your kitchen hand walks in.

What is covered on every visit?

Four areas. The first one is where most of the work is.

Cookline surrounds

  • Cooktop and grill surfaces
  • Fryer exterior and surrounds
  • Splashbacks and wall tiles
  • Behind and under the line
  • Equipment fronts and handles

Benches and food contact

  • Cleaned, then sanitised
  • Sinks, taps and drains
  • Shelving and prep tables
  • Coolroom and fridge exteriors
  • Product named on every task

Floors and coving

  • Degreased, not just mopped
  • Wall and floor junctions
  • Under benches and equipment
  • Drain grate surrounds
  • Dried before we leave

Front of house

  • Tables, banquettes and bases
  • Bar and service counter
  • Glass and entry doors
  • Amenities and consumables
  • Footpath dining if you have it

Coving is the one people skip. Grease and water collect at the wall junction, it is hard to reach with a mop, and it is exactly where an auditor puts a torch.

What paperwork can we provide?

Ask and we send it before you sign anything.

Work health and safety

  • Safety Data Sheets for every chemical
  • Site specific risk assessment
  • Incident reporting process

The cleaning record

  • Product named against each task
  • Every visit time stamped
  • Kept where you can hand it over

Food safety compliance is your business's responsibility, and Council explains Eat Safe Brisbane at brisbane.qld.gov.au. Our part is the cleaning record and the products used.

Why does a Brisbane kitchen need its cleaning on record?

An audit looks at the kitchen on one day. A record shows what happens every day.

  • Brisbane heat keeps grease soft, so it spreads and re-deposits instead of hardening where it landed
  • Grease attracts pests, and the gaps behind and under equipment are where it builds
  • Kitchens run closed and air conditioned through summer, so surfaces load up faster
  • A record with products named is something you can show; a verbal "it gets done" is not

We cannot influence your rating and would not claim to. What we can do is make the cleaning part of it defensible.

What should you check before hiring a restaurant cleaner?

Four things worth asking before you commit.

Does the scope separate cleaning from sanitising?

A scope that says "wipe down benches" tells an auditor nothing. Ask for the product named against each task.

Who handles the canopy and ducts?

Many venues assume their cleaner covers the canopy and ducts, and many cleaning contracts leave them out. Ours are quoted separately and written into the scope, so it is clear who is doing them.

Is coving in the scope?

The floor and wall junction is where grease and water collect. Ask whether it is listed as its own task, because if it is not, it is not happening.

When will the crew be in?

After close until 10pm, or from 6am before prep. Late trading venues should plan on the morning clean.

What do Brisbane venue owners say about us?

How is a kitchen cleaning quote put together?

Hospitality cleaning is quoted after a walkthrough, not priced off a list. Here is what moves the number.

Grease load

What you cook, how much of it, and how many covers a day.

Kitchen and dining area

The size of the kitchen, the dining room and any footpath dining.

Timing

After close until 10pm, or from 6am before prep.

We quote a fixed monthly figure against a written scope with a frequency and a product on every task, never an hourly rate. Anyone quoting a kitchen without seeing it is guessing at the grease load.

Request a site walkthrough

What periodic services can be added?

Scheduled ahead and quoted with the contract.

Floor degrease and coving

Monthly or quarterly.

Canopy and exhaust duct cleaning

Quoted after we see the canopy and duct run.

Which Brisbane areas do we clean restaurants in?

Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Ipswich. Restaurants, pubs, bakeries and cafes. Several venues? Request a walkthrough and we will scope them together.

Inner city and northside

  • Brisbane CBD
  • Fortitude Valley
  • New Farm
  • Newstead
  • Stafford Heights
  • Chermside
  • Ashgrove
  • Nundah
  • Aspley

Character Queenslanders and post-war lowsets sit side by side here, requiring different cleaning approaches on the same street.

Southside and east

  • West End
  • Woolloongabba
  • Coorparoo
  • Camp Hill
  • Carindale
  • Mount Gravatt
  • Sunnybank
  • Wynnum

Older timber homes through the inner south and modern brick builds further out. Bond cleaning bookings peak in this area at the end of every month.

Western suburbs and outer

  • Toowong
  • Indooroopilly
  • Kenmore
  • The Gap
  • Redcliffe
  • Logan
  • Ipswich
  • Springfield

Larger blocks with substantial outdoor entertaining areas and tree cover, where timber deck pressure washing is frequently booked alongside house cleans.

What do Brisbane venue owners ask before signing?

How much does commercial kitchen cleaning cost in Brisbane?

There is no list price. We walk the kitchen, write a scope with a frequency and a product on every task, then quote a fixed monthly figure.

Will this improve my Eat Safe star rating?

We cannot promise that. Your rating comes from a Council audit covering far more than cleaning; what we provide is a cleaning record with products named.

What is the difference between cleaning and sanitising?

Cleaning removes the soil. Sanitising reduces what is left on a surface food touches. A scope that only says "wipe down benches" has not addressed the second step.

Do you clean canopies and exhaust ducts?

Yes, quoted separately once we have seen the canopy and the duct run. How often it is needed depends on what you cook and how much, and your insurer may set a minimum, so tell us when you request the walkthrough.

We close at 11pm. When would you clean?

From 6am the next morning, finished before your prep team starts. We work 6am to 10pm, so a venue closing after 10pm gets a morning clean.

What about front of house and footpath dining?

Both are quoted alongside the kitchen in the same contract.

Do you handle several venues?

Yes, scoped in the same format at each one, so the record looks the same whichever site gets audited.

We stay until it's right

Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.

Would you like a site walkthrough in Brisbane?

Tell us the covers, the cuisine and what time you close. We walk the kitchen before we quote.
