Before any solution goes on
- Care tag read for the cleaning code
- Frame and seams checked for wear
- Colour tested in a hidden spot
- Crumbs, debris and pet hair vacuumed
The arms and the headrest go first. Skin oils build up where you actually sit, and a vacuum does nothing about it. Our upholstery cleaning in Adelaide extracts that out of the fabric instead of pushing it deeper.
Couch cleaning is priced per piece. A two seater is $125, a three seater $185, and dining chairs are $35 each. We check the fabric tag and test the colour before any water goes on.
The fabric decides the method, so we read it before we touch it.
We read the cleaning code on the tag, test the colour in a hidden spot, then clean to what the fabric can take. Sofa cleaning is priced per piece, from $35 for a dining chair to $245 for a four seater.
Most of the dirt is where you sit: skin oils on the arms and headrest, crumbs down the sides, dust worked into the weave. Extraction pulls it out rather than driving it further in.
Fabric only on this page. Leather takes a different process and sits with leather cleaning and conditioning. Beds go to mattress steam cleaning, and floors to carpet steam cleaning.
Most homes book every 12 to 18 months. Homes with indoor pets or young children need a clean sooner. The clearest sign is headrests and armrests turning darker than the rest of the couch.
Every clean follows a written checklist, so you know what is checked, treated and extracted.
Not sure what your fabric is? Look beneath the seat cushions or on the underside lining for a cleaning tag. A photo of that tag tells us more than any description of the colour or feel.
Four steps that protect the furniture while the built-up dirt comes out.
Contact usStep 01
Tell us the furniture type, fabric, number of pieces and any marks. A photo of the care tag tells us the right method.
Step 02
On the day, the cleaner checks the seams and tests the solution on a hidden spot before touching visible cushions.
Step 03
A mild solution loosens body oils. Warm water flushes the fabric through an extraction wand, which pulls the moisture straight back out.
Step 04
We check the finished work with you and set the room up for airflow. Most couches take four to eight hours to dry.
Upholstery lives indoors, but the season still decides how fast a couch dries.
Ask these before anyone puts a wet extraction wand on your sofa.
Every piece carries a cleaning code and it decides everything. W means water-based cleaning is fine, S means solvent only, SW takes either, and X means vacuum only.
Water on an S or X fabric leaves rings and shrinkage that cannot be undone. Find the tag under a cushion or on the frame and send us a photo.
It can, on older pieces and anything deep-dyed. Once dye moves from a dark panel into a pale one, it is permanent.
So we test in a hidden area first and press a white cloth against it. Colour on the cloth means we change method.
Soiling lifts. Wear does not. A shiny patch on an armrest is abraded fibre, not dirt.
Sun fading down one side is the other one we see a lot, on couches that have sat in afternoon light for years. We tell you which you have and whether a clean will change anything.
Per piece. Dining chair $35, single seat $60, armchair $65, two seater $125, three seater $185, four seater $245, and modulars from five seats start at $315.
Drying takes four to eight hours with airflow, so a morning booking usually means the couch is usable that evening.
The fabric decides the method. A quote that never asks what your couch is made of is a guess.
Fabric furniture needs moisture control and gentle chemistry. Here is what you get.
Published South Australian rates, including GST. Priced per piece, not per room.
Tell us the furniture type, fabric, number of pieces and current condition.
You get a price per piece with the inclusions written down, before we start.
One visit covers most homes, and carpets or mattresses can be done the same day.
Per-piece prices are for standard sizes in everyday condition. Oversized pieces or heavy soiling are confirmed in your written quote before any work starts.
What changes an upholstery cleaning price? The piece (a three seater is a different job to a dining chair), the fabric, how many pieces, and how heavily soiled they are. Count your pieces and check the tags before you call.
Yes, and most households book them together. The same extraction equipment covers both, so one visit saves a second call-out. Tell us at quote stage and the carpets are priced alongside your furniture.
We clean couches and chairs across metropolitan Adelaide, the beachside suburbs and the foothills. Request a free quote and tell us your suburb.
We service everything from CBD apartments to classic bluestone and sandstone villas. Older period homes trap dust on picture rails, high skirting boards, and ceiling roses. We target these exact spots during our visits.
We clean coastal properties and classic brick veneer homes. Salt air blowing off the Gulf leaves a sticky film on glass and jams up window tracks. We dedicate extra time to scrubbing these frames and windows so they slide perfectly.
We cover the newer estates out on the plains and the older stone properties up in the Hills. Spring pollen hits the Adelaide Hills hard. We recommend booking window and vent cleaning early in the season to keep allergens outside.
No. Cotton, polyester and microfibre blends generally handle hot water extraction well. Some natural fabrics shrink, watermark or lose their pile with moisture, so we check the care tag before booking.
Carpet sits flat over a floor. Upholstery has seams and thick cushion padding that holds moisture longer, so we use lower water volume and hand tools to avoid soaking the foam.
Four to eight hours for most fabric couches. Hot summer days sit at the faster end, while winter weather and evaporative cooling need good ventilation.
Cleaning lifts everyday dirt, food marks and body oils. Spills that have changed the dye, such as red wine, ink or bleach, cannot always be fully removed, and we tell you that before we start.
Yes, as a separate service. Leather needs gentle hand cleaning and conditioning rather than hot water extraction, so see our leather cleaning and conditioning page.
Fabric protection coats the yarns so spills soak in more slowly. It buys you time to blot coffee or wine, but it does not make furniture stain-proof, so ask at quote stage if it suits your fabric.
It is priced per piece, including GST: a two seater is $125, a three seater $185, a four seater $245 and a dining chair $35. Oversized pieces or heavy soiling are confirmed in your written quote before we start.
Yes. Dining chairs, occasional chairs, recliners, ottomans and fabric office chairs are all covered, priced per piece alongside your main lounge suite.
Most customers book more than one. Same crews, same standards, one invoice.
