What does your mattress maker say about water?
Most mattress care guides say to vacuum gently and keep the mattress dry. Some warn that soaking it can damage the comfort layers and springs, and can affect the manufacturer's warranty.
That is why we clean with controlled moisture rather than treating steam volume as the point. The extraction wand pulls the water back out on the same pass it goes in.
Some makers also ask for a stained mattress to be professionally cleaned before a warranty claim is inspected. That is a practical reason to book a clean.
A manufacturer's warranty is separate from your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which a business cannot take away.
Why does drying matter so much in Perth?
There is no Australian standard for mattress cleaning, so the care label and the maker's guide are the only written instructions for yours. Both come back to the same point: get it dry.

Why does a urine smell keep coming back?
Because a little is always left behind deeper down, and stale urine keeps producing odour as it breaks down.
Most of urine rinses out readily with water. A small part does not dissolve well in plain water, so a surface clean can look finished and smell fine, then disappoint you a week later.
So we treat urine as an odour job with a cleaning component, reaching as deep as the contamination went without soaking the mattress. We do not promise the odour is gone for good, because on a mattress no one honestly can.

Pest treatment in WA is a licensed trade, and it is not ours. If we find signs mid-job, we stop, tell you, and you call a licensed pest technician.
Claim we kill anything

Call ourselves accredited
We are not aware of an Australian accreditation scheme for mattress cleaning, so we will not use the word.
Promise a stain or a warranty back
Cleaning does not restore a warranty a stain already affected, and no clean removes every mark. You get a written expectation per stain before we start, and the price does not change with how it lands.
When is a mattress past cleaning?
Sometimes the useful answer is not to book us.
If the mattress sags, is torn, or contamination has soaked through to the core rather than sitting in the top layers, a clean is money spent on a mattress you will replace anyway.
Perth councils offer mattress collection on different terms, and some charities collect mattresses for recycling. Check your own council's rules rather than leaving it on the verge.
