Construction & Builders Cleaning in Tasmania

Construction and Builder Final Cleaning Services in Tasmania

The final clean is the last job before the keys change hands. Plaster dust sits on every ledge, paint and silicone mark the glass, and winter mud runs through the build. We clean new homes, fit-outs and renovations across Greater Hobart, Launceston and the North-West Coast.

Every job gets a walkthrough and a written scope matched to your handover date, and a photo report records each room.

Which construction jobs do we clean?

New homes, townhouse and unit projects, office and shop fit-outs, extensions and renovations.

We work for builders, project managers, developers and owners. Every job runs to a written scope, timed to your handover or practical completion date. Silica dust extraction can be added to the scope and is quoted at the walkthrough.

We don't remove building waste or skip bins. Rubbish removal stays with your site. Handing back a finished lease? See end of lease cleaning in Tasmania. Regular cleaning after move-in? See office cleaning.

When should a builders clean be booked?

Most projects need one or two cleans at set points in the build.

During the build

A rough clean after plastering or major trades, so the next trade starts on a clean floor.

Final builders clean

The full clean before inspection, handover or practical completion.

Touch-up clean

A quick return after defects or late trades, before the owners move in.

How do builders know the clean is handover-ready?

Site supervisors can check every room without driving back to the job.

  • Inside and outside drawers and cabinets
  • Protective film removed where directed
  • Appliance fronts and sinks
  • Floors vacuumed and mopped

Bathrooms and laundries

  • Grout haze and residue
  • Shower screens and mirrors
  • Toilets, basins and tapware
  • Floors scrubbed and mopped

Windows, frames and fittings

  • Paint spots and stickers removed from glass
  • Frames, tracks and sills
  • Light switches and power points

Tasmanian extras

  • Dust on heat pump heads and vent faces
  • Condensation marks on new glass
  • Garage and porch floors swept

Why do Tasmanian builds need a different final clean?

Tasmanian weather and building materials both leave their mark on a new home.

  • Wet winters mean mud through entries, garages and every room the trades walk through.
  • Plaster and cutting dust settle on heat pump heads, vents and every ledge.
  • New, well-sealed homes can show condensation on fresh glass in cold weather.
  • Handover dates rarely move, so the final clean has to fit a tight window.

That's why entries, vents and fine dust get extra attention on our Tasmanian scope. We start each area once the trades have finished it, and your site rules are briefed at the walkthrough.

Where do we offer construction cleaning in Tasmania?

Local builders cleaning in Greater Hobart, Launceston and the Tamar, and the North-West Coast.

Builders cleaning in Greater Hobart

New estates around Kingston, Kingborough and the Eastern Shore keep builders on tight timelines. We clean new homes and townhouses to a written scope matched to your handover date, and photograph every room once we finish.

Post construction cleaning in Launceston and the Tamar

Launceston builds face wet months and cold starts, and trades track mud through finished rooms. Our cleaning in Legana, Kings Meadows and across the Tamar Valley clears mud, dust and grout haze before inspection, with vent faces and heat pump heads wiped too.

Final builders clean in Burnie and Devonport

We clean new homes, fit-outs and renovations in Burnie, Devonport and the suburbs around them. Each job gets a walkthrough, a written scope and the same room-by-room photo report as our Hobart projects.

Post renovation cleaning

Fine plaster dust hides on ledges, in cupboards and on vents long after a renovation. We clean the renovated rooms and the spaces the dust spread into, and bring glass, frames and floors back to move-in condition.

Construction and builder final cleaning in Tasmania is quoted after a site walkthrough, with a scope matched to your handover date and a photo report of every room.

What do builders ask before booking a final clean?

How much does a builders clean cost in Tasmania?

It depends on floor area, finishes, glass and how much dust and residue is left. We price from a site walkthrough, so you get a fixed price against a written scope.

Can you work to our handover date?

Yes. Tell us your handover or practical completion date at the walkthrough, and we book the clean around it, any day between 6am and 10pm.

Do you remove paint and silicone from glass?

Yes, paint spots, stickers and silicone smears are part of our final clean scope. Anything we can't remove safely is noted in your photo report.

Do you take away building rubbish?

No. Waste removal and skip bins stay with your site, and we clean once the rubbish has gone.

How do you deal with fine plaster dust?

We remove dust from ledges, cupboards, vent faces and floors as part of the scope, working top to bottom so it doesn't resettle on finished surfaces. Construction dust can contain silica, so we don't dry sweep fine dust.

Can you extract silica dust?

Yes. Silica dust extraction can be added to the builders clean after cutting, grinding or stone benchtop work, and is quoted at the walkthrough once we've seen how much dust there is.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry $10 million public liability insurance, and can send a certificate of currency to your site office before we start.

What if the owner finds something we missed?

Tell us through the photo report or call us. Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work, and anything flagged later is fixed quickly.

Do you clean builds outside Hobart?

Yes. We clean new builds and renovations in Launceston and the Tamar, and on the North-West Coast around Burnie and Devonport, too.

We stay until it's right

Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.

Ready to book a walkthrough for your build?
