Oven, Stove and Rangehood Cleaning Services in Australia

Scrub an oven for two hours and an agent can still fail it. An exit inspection compares the oven against the entry condition report, and the door glass and rangehood filter are where it usually falls short.

We split the door, pull the racks, lift out the filter, and degrease every part on its own. You get before and after photos of each one. From $50 including GST, and our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work.

  • Between the door panes, not just the front
  • Filters removed and soaked, never wiped over

What does a professional oven clean actually involve?

Dismantling, mostly. The door comes apart so the inner glass faces can be reached, racks and trays come out to soak, and the rangehood filter is lifted rather than wiped.

Each part is degreased separately, then the cavity, elements, fan cover and seals are done by hand. Baked-on carbon needs dwell time, not force.

This is appliance cleaning, not repair. Heat-damaged enamel, etched glass and perished door seals are damage rather than dirt, and no clean reverses them.

Moving out? The oven is one piece of a much longer checklist, so see end of lease cleaning. For the whole kitchen including cupboards and floors, see deep and spring cleaning.

When is it worth paying someone to clean an oven?

Three moments account for nearly every booking we take.

Before a final inspection

The single biggest reason people call. A cleaned oven costs less than a bond deduction.

Once or twice a year

Owner-occupiers keeping on top of it. Carbon that never gets a chance to bake in stays easy to remove.

After a spill or smoke

A boil-over onto the element, or a fat fire that left everything coated and smelling.

Which parts come out and get done separately?

The parts that soak are the parts that fail inspections.

The oven

  • Cavity, roof and base
  • Racks, shelves and side runners
  • Trays and grill pans
  • Elements and fan cover
  • Door seal and hinge recesses

The cooktop

  • Gas burners, caps and crowns
  • Trivets and pan supports
  • Ceramic and induction glass
  • Control knobs removed and washed
  • The trim edge where spills collect

The rangehood

  • Filters removed and soaked
  • Canopy inside and out
  • Underside where grease hangs
  • Light covers and switches
  • Ducted or recirculating housing

Where inspections are lost

  • Between the door glass panes
  • The seal where door meets frame
  • The underside of the filter
  • Behind and beneath the rack runners
  • The gap beside a freestanding oven

Pyrolytic ovens still need the door, racks and filter done by hand. A self-clean cycle burns the cavity and leaves everything else exactly as it was.

How do we strip an oven without wrecking the kitchen?

Four steps, and the dismantling is most of the value.

Contact us
  1. Step 01

    Protect and dismantle

Floor and benchtops covered, then the door, racks, trays and filter come out.

  2. Step 02

    Parts go in to soak

Removable parts soak on site while the cavity is treated in place.

  3. Step 03

    Dwell, then work it

Carbon needs time to soften. Scrubbing it early is how glass gets scratched.

  4. Step 04

    Rebuild and report

Everything goes back, gets tested, and you get the photos.

Why does the oven matter so much at an exit inspection?

Because the agent compares the property with the entry condition report, and the oven is the easiest place to show a difference.

  • The rangehood filter is the forgotten one. Many tenants never remove it, and agents check the underside
  • Door glass decides arguments. Grease between the panes cannot be reached without splitting the door open
  • Effort is not the measure. Streaks and haze read as not cleaned, however long you scrubbed

Every state runs its own bond process, but the comparison works the same way everywhere. That is why we photograph before and after.

Why not just buy a can of oven cleaner?

Four reasons the supermarket route tends to end badly.

We get between the door panes

On a split door, grease works its way between the inner glass faces where no spray or cloth will ever reach it. It is the first thing an agent looks at and the last thing a tenant can fix.

We take the door apart, clean both inner faces, then rebuild and test it. That one step is the difference between passing an inspection and arguing about it.

Rangehood filters soaked, never wiped over

The filter is easy to forget, and grease collects on the underside where nobody looks.

Wiping the face of it does nothing at all. Ours come out and soak until the mesh runs clear again, then go back into the housing.

No caustic runs down your stone benchtop

Supermarket oven sprays are caustic. A drip onto engineered stone, a splashback or a timber edge marks it, and razor blades on door glass scratch permanently.

Damage costs far more bond than dirt ever did, and it cannot be undone. We mask the surrounds, soak the removable parts away from your benchtops, and never take a blade to oven glass.

A photo report that works as inspection evidence

Bond arguments come down to what the entry report said against what the exit photos show. Most tenants have neither.

You get dated before and after shots of the oven, the cooktop and the filter, plus any existing damage we recorded before starting. That is a file you can forward to an agent, not just a clean kitchen and your word for it.

Agents are not grading your effort. They are comparing two photographs, and usually only one side has any.

What backs the work done in your kitchen?

What do oven cleaning customers tell us?

What does oven cleaning cost in Australia?

Priced per appliance, with bundles for the whole cooking zone.

Scope NSW VIC QLD WA SA TAS NT
Standard oven $149 $140 $130 $135 $125 $120 $149
Large / 900 mm oven $185 $179 $165 $170 $155 $155 $185
Double oven $249 $235 $220 $225 $205 $200 $249
Stovetop $60 $59 $55 $55 $50 $50 $60
Rangehood $70 $69 $65 $65 $60 $59 $70
Oven + stovetop Bundle $199 $189 $175 $180 $165 $160 $199
Oven + stovetop + rangehood Bundle $255 $240 $225 $230 $210 $205 $255

The bundle exists for a reason. Agents check all three, and doing the oven while leaving a greasy filter is how people still lose money after paying for a clean. All three together costs less than the same items booked apart.

Ovens left uncleaned for many years may need a second dwell cycle. We tell you on arrival, before starting, not after.

What do people ask about oven cleaning?

How long does a professional oven clean take?

A standard oven runs about two hours, and the cooktop and rangehood add roughly thirty minutes between them. Most of that is dwell time while the degreaser softens baked-on carbon. Rushing it is how door glass gets scratched.

Can you clean between the glass panes on the oven door?

Yes, on doors built to come apart. Grease migrates between the inner faces and cannot be reached any other way. We split the door, clean both faces, then rebuild and test it before we leave.

Do you use caustic chemicals in my kitchen?

We use commercial degreasers, and we control where they go. Benchtops, splashbacks and flooring are masked first, and removable parts soak away from your surfaces, because caustic marks on stone or timber are permanent.

Can I use the oven straight afterwards?

Yes. Everything is rinsed and wiped down so no residue is left in the cavity or on the racks. Running it empty at a low temperature for ten minutes first clears any remaining smell.

Will it remove all the discolouration?

Baked-on grease and carbon come off. Heat-damaged enamel, etched glass and stained element housings are damage rather than dirt, and we tell you which one you have on arrival.

Do you clean the rangehood filter or replace it?

We clean it. Filters are removed and soaked until the mesh runs clear, which works far better than wiping the face. If a filter is corroded or the mesh has collapsed, we tell you, because replacing it is cheaper than cleaning it.

What else does the kitchen need before you hand back the keys?

Most customers book more than one. Same crews, same standards, one invoice.
