Why do carpets get dirty again so fast?
It is the most common complaint about carpet cleaning, and the cause is usually not the carpet. It is detergent left in the pile.
A sticky residue left behind by a clean attracts soil from ordinary foot traffic, so the discolouration looks like a returning stain. That is why the rinse matters as much as the clean.
The other cause is wicking. Moisture left in the backing travels back up the fibres as it dries and brings a stain with it, and more extraction with faster drying is the answer to that too.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Darwin?

Steam cleaning or dry cleaning, which do I need?
Steam cleaning, which is really hot water extraction, for a proper deep clean. Low moisture methods dry faster and suit a quick refresh between deep cleans, but they are not a replacement for extraction.
Will the stains come back a few days later?
Not if the carpet is rinsed and dried properly. When it does happen it is usually detergent residue attracting soil, or wicking, where moisture left in the backing carries a stain back up as it dries.
Do you clean the underlay?
No, and a good clean should not even wet it. Pet urine is the exception, because it soaks through and the smell will not lift until what is in the underlay is dealt with. Small patches can be treated, and we tell you at the inspection if a patch is beyond that.
Do I need my carpets professionally cleaned when I move out?
That depends on your lease and the condition of the carpet. The ingoing and outgoing condition reports are what decide it, so compare the two and check with your agent before you book.
How often should carpet be cleaned?
For most homes, every 12 to 18 months, and sooner with pets or heavy traffic. Your carpet's warranty may set its own interval, so keep the invoice either way.
Do you move the furniture?
We move what can be moved safely, like beds and lounges, and put it back. Fragile items, electronics and anything inside cabinets are better cleared beforehand.
We stay until it's right
Our cleaners don't leave until you're happy with the work. For end of lease cleans, if you're not satisfied and tell us within 72 hours, we come back and re-clean.
